OUR STORY
The Savory Group was founded by Sir Reginald Savory in 1941 to provide homes of distinction thriving in the post World War II rebuilding of the New Zealand economy. With the growth of manufacturing from 1950 to 1980, the company moved into the commercial market with the construction of industrial, retail and office developments.
Savory has moved forward with the times but still maintains essential traditional features such as proven Site Managers who are builders and remains one of the few large construction companies that still have a waged labour force and ongoing apprentice programme. The Savory Group employs over 100+ staff, upon which we build our labour force to suit a changing market.

FINANCIAL STRENGTH
Savory provides financial surety for our clients and their financiers. We have no external debt and we maintain a policy of profit reinvestment and working capital management to ensure our balance sheet remains equivalent to the size of our business.

As we have grown and developed over the years, so too has our awareness of the enormous benefits that accrue through fostering a strong ethos that promotes a positive health and safety culture and environmental awareness whilst establishing clear expectations, responsibilities and standards.
