Clendon Pak'n Save

Savory were engaged by Foodstuffs to collaboratively tackle the challenge they had put forward for an existing supermarket.

The challenge: Build a new Pak’n Save store in the same location as an existing New World store, whilst keeping the existing store trading.

The solution: Construct the 1st stage comprising of3,750m2 built on two abutting sides of the existing supermarket. On completion of the build, the store’s operations switched to the new building virtually overnight. The 2nd stage was to demolish the old supermarket and construct the new structure built on the cleared site.
