ASB Tennis Arena - Yock Stand

Savory were engaged in a ECI role to plan, demolish and construct the Yock Stand at ASBTennis Arena. We worked with the Client and consultant team on various options for the Tennis Arena including and complete demo and rebuild with a roof. Stage 1 replacement of the Yock Stand was delivered on time which was the ultimate driver for the Client.

After completion the site team worked with the facilities and events teams to help setup for the tennis tournament and offer training and support for the new building. The Tennis tournament date was locked in for January and with Serena Williams on her way, there was no room to move it. We had to work with the team to overcome issues such as design co-ordination challenges, consenting and stakeholder approvals.
